Nubian Connection We are the friends and alumni of Southern Illinois University (SIU).
Most of our membership is located in the Chicago and suburban areas of Chicago.
Nubian Connection was formed in 1994. The founding president of the organization was Robert Triplett,
class of 1969.
Our Purpose
To promote the education of young adults at SIU
Award annual Book Scholarships to worthy undergraduates of SIU
Hold fund-raisers for the Book Scholarship program
Network in order to gain knowledge of internships, job opportunities, and scholarships for graduate or post graduate degree programs
